Writing in cursive really slows one down, bringing greater attention to applying the words to the page. Get a good pen and try it. It may seem frustrating at first, or may become a delight and carry you back to memories of your first days in school.

We abandon our children to education in boredom and intellectual escapism by failing to engage their hands in learning and making.
My third grade teacher, Mrs Buzzard ( I am not joking) made us practice cursive until we had callouses on our middle finger knuckle.
