We had a busy day at the Diablo Adult Education center working on children's rockers. We started the morning with lecture and discussion of furniture design and had fun with the golden proportion detectors. At this point, the students are designing and carving the backs for their chairs. Most have the rockers shaped and we are beginning to cut the mortises in the back legs.
