I had a stroke on December 1, 2024 while waiting to board a flight home to Arkansas. I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance from O'Hare Airport to Resurrection Hospital in Chicago where I underwent treatment for 17 days.
I am currently home in Arkansas and receiving regular therapies. You may have wondered. I'll be back to my advocacy of hands-on learning when I am more able.
Make, fix, and create.
Hang on in there, Doug. Sorry to hear about the stroke. I'm sure you'll find that even a hands-off period has benefits; yet I hope you can take up your tools soon!
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best in your recovery Doug. I bought your latest book Designing Boxes as a Christmas present to myself. I have all your books. You are an inspiration to me and I have made several of the boxes shown in your books.
