In teacher inservice we are making Froebel gifts just as folks in small villages would have done to put Kindergarten learning in the hands of their kids. I've prepared the stock for the teachers to assemble.
Rigdon made gifts number 3 and 4 as shown.
I had an anxiety dream last night in which we were trying to make a presentation to a very large audience in which everyone was talking and disruptive. Folks began leaving in large numbers before we got to the good part in which we were going to introduce the guests from A+ Schools. When it comes to education reform in the US, there's a lot of anger, (and reason for it) and when it comes to what we want to provide for our children, there's reason for impatience.
The formula is actually quite simple, however. Children have the growing capacity to do real things in benefit to their families and communities. These real things involve the arts. Through the arts one can learn everything from music to medicine, from math to architecture, and to care for each other.
Make, fix, create, and assist us in reshaping American education.
