Michael Pollan said that junk food is OK as long as you make your own from better ingredients. How about making Twinkies? You will at least burn a few calories in making your own and will be able to avoid the preservatives that give Twinkies a long shelf life in the grocery store.
If you can make Twinkies, you might also be inspired to make a few healthier recipes, and have great fun in the kitchen.
The thought of homemade Twinkies seems so odd. I'll pass the idea along to my son the chef.

You may remember that my friend Jane Tucker makes home made marshmallows in a variety of flavors including cinnamon. Ask Tomas if he's ever made those.
