the thing some don't get
There is a danger to the status-quo when individuals are empowered to perceive their creative capacity. And there are things that many of those in leadership positions in our current political economy may or may not understand. Or perhaps understanding, they choose to keep a few things to themselves and actively discourage human potential. The sketch above illustrates that when we become engaged creatively through the use of our hands, we are remade as more powerful, more fulfilled and more fulfilling. There is political danger in that. What if, instead of complaisant consumers, we became actively engaged in reshaping society to reflect higher purpose, closer relationship to nature and to the needs of each other? It is something that arises in our hands
