This blog is dedicated to sharing the concept that our hands are essential to learning- that we engage the world and its wonders, sensing and creating primarily through the agency of our hands. We abandon our children to education in boredom and intellectual escapism by failing to engage their hands in learning and making.

Bob Ebendorf Class at ESSA
World renown jeweler and craft artist Bob Ebendorf is teaching at ESSA this weekend. You can read about his class and his career on the Eureka Springs School of the Arts blog. In addition, the blog has published an interview with me at this address.
What a fabulous opportunity for jewelry makers to take his class. I just simply can't bring myself to take up another discipline before I make better use of the ones I've already "tooled up" for.
