When things were simpler, maybe they were better as well.
There were never better times! Life keeps getting better all the time. Maybe the economy's not so great now, but there have been several worse recessions and most people are still doing well. The old-fashioned inexpensive gifts are still available and we should buy them and we should play non-electric games with our kids - and adults, too.
