The photo at left is a simple book rack I finished this morning. Next week, you will see more in a variety of shapes designed by my 5th and 6th grade woodworkers. Mine is a classic arts-and-crafts style and I am working on an article for magazine publication that will make the plans available. This project is a great use for a hollow chisel mortiser and uses my "flipping story stick" technique for accurate machine set-up.
As I am reminded of articles, I should mention that I have an article about box making in the December 2007 issue of Woodwork Magazine.
