This blog is dedicated to sharing the concept that our hands are essential to learning- that we engage the world and its wonders, sensing and creating primarily through the agency of our hands. We abandon our children to education in boredom and intellectual escapism by failing to engage their hands in learning and making.
"Lie about them over and over until you get someone to believe you and then maybe you will even start to believe them yourself." That is a scary thought. It is funny as children we play the game Telephone where one person says something and you whisper it down the line and by the time the last child says it out loud it is totally different. I think that is what happens. There is a partial truth and then it gets twisted until we don't know truth from fiction.
Nice blog, Doug. Always a pleasure to know what you are thinking.
