I felt that Roy treated sloyd as something associated only with the past that is no longer relevant to modern learning. He could have spoken more forcefully about its value to today's youth. So you and I will have to make that point.Doug Stowehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13003845322415622289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34011427.post-83939944426786837262011-02-27T18:30:43.538-06:002011-02-27T18:30:43.538-06:00Hi Doug,

A friend sent me the link to the episode and I was thinking of you as he was explaining his view of what sloyd was, hmm I thought I know that view and then there was that lovely "wisdom of hands" quote. I popped by here to confirm you had been involved in the making of the episode but obviously not credited for it. Never mind, sloyd is reaching a wider audience and you are playing your part.Robin Woodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05540543090007397534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34011427.post-64489765124863140922011-02-13T05:45:48.867-06:002011-02-13T05:45:48.867-06:00He didn't do that did he. Do you think he wants his viewers to think sloyd is something he discovered on his own?Doug Stowehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13003845322415622289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34011427.post-81968800093452650882011-02-13T04:56:41.887-06:002011-02-13T04:56:41.887-06:00Excellent!
